Need to pay off credit card debts?

Wednesday September 24, 2008

It has been reported that Australians are using their credit cards less. This may be true, but Australians have racked up very large credit card debts. If you're determined to repay your credit card debts, you may want to establish a budget first.

Try factoring in the following when compiling your budget:

  • Essential expenses - these include mortgage repayments, personal loans, utilities, groceries, petrol, education expenses, and of course, your credit card debts.
  • Sacrificeable expenses - these include getting rid of gym memberships, cable TV expenses, and downgrading your internet connections.

If you want to consider a balance transfer credit card to try and control your debt, compare credit cards now and find the right one for you.
